No-exam life insurance

Understand who gets rapid approval, the mechanics of expedited processing, and what happens when they don't qualify.

Many now offer accelerated underwriting: for those within certain parameters, they use the app form, Rx history, DMV data, and public records to reach conclusions without medical screening. Some approvals happen immediately. This site indicates for each offer whether screening is needed, possibly needed, or not needed.

What it changes

No exam doesn't mean no review. Your statements are checked, and policies built on incorrect information can be challenged during the first 24 months. If investigation reveals concerns, the carrier might ask for screening or blood tests; you'll decide whether continuing makes sense.

Who tends to qualify

Typically those under roughly 60, requesting coverage under the carrier's quick-underwriting cap, with clear health history and no tobacco in the last year or longer. Some insurers accept current lab work from your doctor rather than ordering new testing.

If screening is required, plan for a 20-30 minute appointment at your home or workplace in the Mountain View region, at no charge. For healthy candidates, test findings often result in rate improvements, so screening isn't necessarily unfavorable.
